MK's First 4th

Bit had an fun and relaxing first Independence Day. To celebrate, we went to a cookout at our church, which has a great view of the city of Birmingham's annual fireworks extravaganza - Thunder on the Mountain. She got to taste her first watermelon- and liked it immensely - dance with grandpa, wave a wand (and hit daddy in the face with the wand) and also watched fireworks. I was pretty impressed with how she held up - she watched with curiosity - no fear of the loud noise, but I think she was too tired for excitement. Seeing as she didn't freak out from the shaking of the ground and the loud noise, I consider it a success :)
