Snowbaby Adventures
We experienced MK's first snowfall this past week. She enjoyed it much more than I thought she would. It began snowing while she was at school, and when I picked her up and brought her outside, she squealed and we tried to catch snowflakes.
When we got home, we played in it for about three minutes. She wasn't really dressed warm enough, and of course being in Alabama, I wanted to let her play in it before it started melting. She enjoyed trying to catch the snowflakes, but to my surprise, she decided to eat them :)
When daddy got home, the snow had already started melting, but we went out and played again, and while mommy and daddy threw snowballs at MK and each other, she sat down on the ground and had a snowflake snack.
Who knew snowflakes were so tasty?

Birthday Tantrums
We decided to torment MK and take her to a Mexican restaurant and let them sing to her for her birthday. She wasn't excited about this at all. Before the song, she had a tantrum for her Uncle Lance's iPhone 5 - below.

Walking Machine
MK finally made more than a couple of steps (although that's all I managed to capture on video here). She can walk across the living room and bring us small toys. Here's to hoping my waistline shrinks as I begin the never-ending chase after MK!

When The Book Is Over...
MK loves to be read to. She brings us books and puts them on our laps. Her favorites seem to be Goodnight Moon, Miss Mary Mack and anything by Dr. Seuss. What's funny is that whenever the book is over, and you close the covers, she starts to cry until you open it and begin reading again. See below... And, yes, she wears her bibs as capes.
