Sweet and Sour Cabbage

This is hubby's fave dish. I was skeptical - actually I downright refused to cook it - but his aunt made it when she came to visit, I tried it, and I didn't gag. It actually tastes like an egg roll without the crust.

1 head of cabbage
1-1/2 cans of tomato sauce (about 40 oz)
1/2 box of brown sugar
1 tsp citric acid (I substitute lemon juice)

Make sauce on stove. Add cut up cabbage. Simmer and stir until cabbage is tender. About 1-2 hours.
